Do you include cemeteries into your sightseeing schedules when you’re traveling or am I weird? (well, … 😂) I paid tribute to one of my favorite singers at Montmartre Cemetery when I was in Paris in the before times. I had no trouble locating Dalida’s graveside. Impressive, isn’t it?
I’ve always wanted to cover one of her songs, so I recorded a humble tribute to one of my favorite singers of all time. I chose the beautiful song “Histoire d’un Amour”, which was written by Panamanian songwriter Carlos Eleta Alamarán. Many artists have recorded a version of this song, but I just adore Dalida’s version. To me, that’s the definite one. Do you agree? 😉
